Pressure testing

Many components, such as pipes, hydraulic systems, etc., operate at very high pressure. This represents a continuous danger for people and machines. In order to minimise this danger, such components are often subjected to a high-pressure test before being put into service, whereby the expected operating pressure is usually exceeded by a factor of at least 1.3.

If all connections and materials withstand this pressure for a specified time, it is assumed that this will also be the case for the service life of the test object.

With our modern high-pressure testing equipment, it is possible for us to pressurise your components with water or oil. The pressure range is between 125 and 900 bar.

During the test, the tester can continuously monitor the current pressure using a display outside of the pressurised area. Using modern evaluation software, the complete testing process is saved digitally and can then be followed to the second. This measurement is accurate to 0.1 bar.
